From sculpture to chandeliers, decorative tiles to figurative work. This ten week evening class introduces you to the world of hand made ceramics.
Taught in small classes by renowned ceramicist Wendy Lawrence you will be guided through all aspects of hand built ceramics, from preparing the raw clay through to finished glazed pieces.
At the end of the course you will keep all the work you have made and also receive a Glyndwr University certificate of achievement.
The cost is £120 and whilst most materials are included, clay is charged by weight, don't worry though clay is approximately £10 for 12.5kgs!

Inspired the The Great British Throw Down - or just inspired to make ceramics? Then this ten week evening class is for you.
The short course introduces you to the world of the potters wheel. learn how to prepare clay for throwing, centring and raising techniques; essential skills for every potter. Use the wheel to explore the forms created by hand, and with special tools, in combination with the potters wheel and find new and exciting ways to express yourself, under the guidance of professional potter Georgina Wright.
The classes are strictly limited to small groups of students. The cost is £120 and whilst most materials are included, clay will be charged by what you use.
